re-adoption day!

Today was your official "re-adoption" day and also National Adoption Day. It was a big event at the courthouse with cake, balloons, official photos, give aways, etc. Your abuela Sandy was the photographer using our new video camera, so it's all on record. The judge was very welcoming. She asked us some questions about our adoption journey, made a few comments on our legal file, and presented us with a plaque, a commemorative coin, and flowers. You were such a good boy, in spite of being sick this past week. You were transfixed by a red balloon which we had tied to your shoe so it wouldn't get lost and you played with it the whole time. Our adoption is now officially recognized by the state, your name is legal, and you will be issued a WA state birth certificate! Yippee!
